Jennifer McClendon, MPH
Jennifer has extensive experience establishing coalitions and strengthening collaboratives to plan, implement, and evaluate nutrition education initiatives. She has worked for over a decade in nutrition education, utilizing public health approaches to implement policy, system, and environmental change. For the past six years, Jennifer led a six-county collaborative in Northern California to achieve increased access to fruits, vegetables, clean drinking water, and regular physical activity. As a former Peace Corps Volunteer, Jennifer worked with diverse and economically-challenged communities, and more recently, she has worked closely with CalFresh-eligible groups. She excels at developing and strengthening partnerships with both traditional and nontraditional community partners to deliver innovative, balanced solutions. Her areas of expertise include strategic planning, program evaluation, community engagement, and facilitative leadership. Jennifer has a Master's Degree in Public Health from Loma Linda University and a Bachelor's Degree in Aquatic Biology from University of California Santa Barbara.
Reba Meigs, MPA

With over 12 years of experience designing and evaluating public health programs, Reba Meigs is skilled at using a wide variety of methods to conduct evaluation, data analysis, strategic planning, and program development. Reba Meigs worked eight years as a program manager and health educator for the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) Network for a Healthy California. She designed and evaluated nutrition and physical activity educational programs for the Regional Networks and the Children’s Power Play! Campaign, one of the top ten programs worldwide to show significant results for fruit and vegetable consumption among children, as published in Preventive Medicine: An International Journal Devoted to Practice and Theory. She also assisted in the design of a large-scale evaluation project on behalf of the Campaign in which she published an article titled Network for a Healthy California: Evaluation Results of Multi-Level Nutrition Education through SNAP-Ed in the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior, Vol. 43 No. 4S2, July/August 2011 issue. Reba has a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego State University.
